DJ Ozzy The Great and DJ Cupid emerged tops at an Alliance Française de Gaborone DJ Session on May 31.

The duo would now be expected to further sharpen their skills when they perform at the 11th edition of Fete de la Musique slated for BotswanaCraft on June 29. Fete de la Musique is an annual music festival which began in France and is now seen in various cities around the world.

Friday night was jam-packed with fun as some upcoming DJs battled it out at a session which lined up 15 tuxes. Each of them was given a chance to show and display their skill, creativity and talent to rock the dance floor with their thrilling flavours.

Lined up for the night were DJs Bigl, Cupid, Dustin, Foxxy, Lady Lotus, Leah, Ozzy The Great, Propaganda, Rass, Saot, Scratch, T.I.C, Stuxx Underground and Yung Mular.

Each deejay was given 15 minutes to rock the audience while an excellent level of skill, creativity, crowd motivation together with music diversity were all the DJs needed to display to emerge the best.

What made it even more fun was that the number of people on the dance floor dancing to the tunes as the deejays turned their tables also determined the winner.  Meanwhile, the DJ session aimed at promoting as well as exposing upcoming mix masters to the public and promoters. ENDS
