BFA suspends Kemoeng
18 Oct 2016
Botswana Football Association (BFA) has suspended its chief executive officer, Kitso Kemoeng.
The assocation then appointed Susan Lawrence on an acting capacity.
This is the second high raking official to be suspended at Lekidi enclave, following the suspension of Botswana Premier League CEO, Bennett Mamelodi.
Kemoeng was employed by BFA last year and football pundits were of the view that he was what the doctor had ordered for the trouble-riddled association.
He took the baton from Keith Masters who also did not finish his contract with the association.
It is not yet clear as to why Kemoeng was suspended and BFA has made it clear that they would not give any interviews regarding the matter until further notice.
“Given the sensitivity of this matter, the association will not give any interview of further comment on the matter until further notice which we hope will be soon,” says the press release from BFA. ENDS
