Branch looks good to win

Motorbike riders on Ocober 15 locked horns to win the Federation International de Motocyclisme (FIM) Africa Southern African Challenge ending the round four which is the last in a year for the championships at Dumela. In an interview, Lobelo Racing Club secretary, Lola Berrie said  they had 42 participants from both Botswana and the neighboring countries of Zimbabwe, Zambia and South Africa who will be challenging each other to win the final.
She said the races of the day also include the Botswana Motocross Sport competitions which the winners will compete for the final of round four to be held on November 2016.
The riders w ere competing also having fun on the muddy roads and had fans eating on their palm as they showed their thriller skills on air while riding.
There were also the young ones of ages five to seven years who were also competing and these ones had dedication and sport at heart as one could see from a distance.
When they fell down, they would quickly stand up and be back on track in a blink of an eye to continue with the race.
The fans applauded to such entertaining part of the races and enjoyed.
With the tight security the fans enjoyed watching the riders with a clear conscious as they were at ease knowing nothing will disturb them.  
One of the moments where fans were left standing on their feet was when the  MX1 riders, which are the senior riders were on track and the fastest, Ross Branch who dominated all the categories he participated in, opened a lap gap between him and his most competitor ending the race in a short  period of time.
Berrie expressed his gratitude to the sponsors saying if it was not because of them they event would never be a success.
She said the sport uptake is slow among women and they keep losing the women riders due to parenting issues however, they keep motivating them to continue riding.
Meanwhile they recorded a minor injury of the track for the MX 50 class and was treated and got back to the track. MX50 for SAC championships was won by Nathan Berrie, seconded by Jordan Dewdney and Declan Barret.
While MX125 champion is Joshua Goby, seconded by Scott Heygate and Ryan Webb in the third place.
MX1 champion is Branch seconded by Luke Wheeler and Louw Schmidt in the third position. ENDS
