Bobonong Engen to start operating in October

The construction of a half a million Pula Engen filling station by IP Investments Company in Bobonong which started on March this year is now 85 per cent complete.

Speaking in an interview with site foreman, Mr Mothusiemang Makgasa, said the filling station which was expected to be running on September 30 will now be completed by the end of October this year.

He said the delay was caused by shortage of some materials which were imported from South Africa.

“We have already mounted air conditioners, inserted zinks and other equipment’s necessary,” he said.

Mr Makgasa said they are now paving the filling station and thereafter they will be mounting fuel pumps and the filling station canopy.

He stressed that everything is now going well as they have solved issues of concrete and bricks supply.

Mr Makgasa said their company has already created employment to the residents of Bobonong as they hired 45 employees. He narrated that the new filling station signals development to the area adding that a lot of people will be employed by the filling station to work as fuel attendants and cashiers.

Mr Makgasa said employee’s safety at the site is a priority highlighting that they have never recorded any accident so far. ENDS
