Merchandise boosts businesses

As preparations for Botswana's upcoming golden jubilee independence celebrations continue to gain momentum, this has also helped to boost business for many.
Some individuals have already tapped into the opportunity to design the merchandise so as to boost their business profit margins.
Usually, such merchandise is in demand only when the national football team has a game to host.
Ever since the golden jubilee preparations begun, the trend seems to have changed as workers are allowed to wear such colours to work so as to keep up the vibe and mood of BOT50 celebrations.
Speaking in an interview, Mr Obakeng Mokojane of Lotlhakane East said that BOT50 merchandise indeed boost his fashion design business.
He indicated that the BOT50 merchandise he design have taken his business to a higher level, adding that he designs t-shirts, hats, tracksuits among others
Mr Mokojane who started his business in 2008 said that 2016 is the best year for his business, adding that his business is flourishing because of BOT50 planned celebrations.
“I use a bead eye cloth as it is easy to wash and iron. Many people like the bead eye cloth and my design because the design is unique from others and it is truly awesome”, said the passionate fashion designer.
He indicated that normally he personalises the t-shirt depending on the customer's desire. He noted that wearing Botswana colours is a sign of showing patriotism and they give one a sense of belonging.
Mr Mokojane also design school uniforms and wedding garments.
He also encouraged other business owners to treat customers with love and care. Ends
