He is one of those youths who have decided to improve their lives by making use of every opportunity available.

Twenty-five-year-old, Mr Onkabetse Kgosi of Bobonong said in an interview that he survived through a media business operating in Rasetimela ward starting eight months ago.

“I used my financial savings to establish a Web Link Media business,” he said.

Most of his work entails advertising and promoting businesses in Bobonong, adding that he does so through magazine publishing.

Mr Kgosi said he has designed a magazine named The Stage that advertises and promotes businesses that sell building materials, car sales and goats in Bobonong.

“I also have a Facebook page where my magazine is available online,” he said.

He said he decided to establish an advertising and publishing company as he has realised that businesses in Bobonong were not exposed to the public.

Mr Kgosi added that Bobonong was expanding and growing in terms of development hence it was important for businesses to be exposed to attract investors.

“Advertisng is the backbone of every business,” he said. Mr Kgosi said he has realised that many businesses in Botswana have liquidated due to lack of advertising.

He said the good feedback that he was getting from many of his clients was a sign of good reception.

Mr Kgosi said the main challenge he faced was shortage of material such as printing papers and ink, saying he has to go as far as Selibe Phikwe and Francistown to purchase materials. Ends
