Mafolofolo ladies volleyball club coach Odirile Sibanda says they aim  to maintain their good performance as the second round of the Mascom Volleyball league continues.

He indicated that their win over the weekend put them in first position on the log standings.

Sibanda further noted that as the league continues, their objective is not to drop any sets until the league ends.

He said only dedication and determination will play a role in that; explaining that their strength lay on service.

Therefore he said they will work hard to achieve their aim of winning more sets to keep them in better position to win the league.

Mafolofolo won three sets to nil of Kalavango; and Sibanda indicated that their game plan worked for them to beat Kalavango.

He said they attacked with their services and gained more points to win all three sets.

Meanwhile Kalavango coach Isaac Thengelani said although they lost to Mafolofolo his girls played well; saying it was their first loss in five games they played in the second round of the league.

He indicated that the team displayed weakness on passing and therefore said it is an area they need to work on in preparation for their next game. ENDS
