Sese to have access road

The Ministry of Transport and Communication will construct an access road linking Sese village with the Jwaneng- Kanye road through the ongoing OPRC (Output and Performance based Road Contracting) project. Minister of Transport and Communications Mr Tshenolo Mabeo stated this on Wednesday (August 11) in response to a question in Parliament from Jwaneng – Mabutsane MP Mr Shawn Nthaile. “Construction of the access road is expected to commence in September 2016,” Mr Mabeo said. He further said the upgrading of Jwaneng – Sese road was not included in the National Development Plan (NDP) 10 and the Economic Stimulus Programme. Mr Nthaile had asked the minister whether the Jwaneng –Sese tarmac road was proposed for implementation before the economic recession. ENDS
