No company controls economy

The Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, Mr Vincent Seretse, says it is not acceptable for one company to control the economy. Mr Seretse stated that such situation did not exist in Botswana. He was speaking in Parliament on Tuesday, responding to a question from Francistown West MP, Mr Ignatius Moswaane. The MP had asked the minister whether it was acceptable for one company to control the economy and be a single retail operator.ENDS
