CIPA incorporates over 18 000 companies
09 Aug 2016
The Companies and Intellectual Property Authority (CIPA) has incorporated 18 778 companies between November 2015 and July 2016 compared to 14 855 incorporated during the same period last year.
Responding to a parliamentary question on Monday, Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, Mr Vincent Seretse, however, could not ascribe the 3 923 increased incorporated companies to the Economic Stimulus Programme (ESP) alone.
Mr Seretse was responding to a question from Gaborone Central MP, Mr Phenyo Butale who had asked the minister to indicate the total number of companies registered since the announcement of the ESP. Ends
