MYSC to use Nokaneng hostels

The Minister of Infrastructure, Science and Technology, Mr Nonofo Molefhi, says the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture, has been granted permission to utilise the Remote Area Dwellers (RADS) hostels at Nokaneng for youth programmes. Mr Molefhi was answering a question Monday on behalf of the Minister of Youth, Sport and Culture, Mr Thapelo Olopeng, in which the member of Parliament for Ngami, Mr Thato Kwerepe, wanted to know when the RADS offices allocated to MYSC will open for use by the youth in Nokaneng. He however said the hostels are not in a usable state and will require major maintenance or re-construction. “But due to financial constraints, my Ministry has not been able to commit to a date when the facility will begin to function as was anticipated," he said.
