No land allocations across Maun-Francistown road
07 Aug 2016
Tawana Land Board has not made any allocations that cut across the old Maun-Francistown road, Parliament has been told. Minister of Lands and housing, Mr Prince Maele said in this connection, there were no consultations with borehole owners in that area. He said the borehole owners along the old Maun-Francistown road continue to access their cattle posts either through the said old or tracks from Shorobe, Sexaxa, Samedupi, Chanoga or Xhana or any other route they consider convenient. Mr Maele was responding to the question from Maun west MP, Mr Tawana Moremi, who wanted to know whether borehole holders that use the road were consulted during land allocation. He also wanted to know which road the borehole holders should use to access their cattle posts. ENDs
