BPC to consider Ghanzi South

Minister of Minerals, Energy and Water Resources, Mr Kitso Mokaila has told Parliament that Botswana Power Corporation appreciates the need to extend electricity infrastructure in the Ghanzi South constituency.
However, Mr Mokaila said the corporation would consider the specified locations once funds were availed. He further explained that Charleshill electricity infrastructure was extended during 2007/08 and 2013/14 financial years, while Ncojane was done in 2008/09 financial year.
The minister was responding to a question by Ghanzi South MP, Christiaan De Graaff who had asked what plans were in place to do village electricity extension in Ghanzi South constituency in general and specifically for the villages of Charleshill, Tsootsha and Ncojane. Ends
