No road for HukuntsiNcojane - Mabeo

The Minister of Transport and Communications has told Parliament that there are currently no plans to conduct a preliminary assessment or feasibility study for the design and tarring of the road between Hukuntsi and Ncojane under NDP10.
Minister Tshenolo Mabeo said the road has also not been considered to be included in the upcoming development plan (NDP11) due to budgetary constraints.
Nevertheless, he said his ministry would, however, continuously grade the road to make it passable at all times.
The MP for Kgalagadi North, Mr Itumeleng Moipisi had asked the minister whether he would consider conducting a preliminary assessment, design and ultimately tarring the road from Hukuntsi passing through settlements to Ncojane to shorten the distance between Kgalagadi North and Ghanzi South. Ends
