YDF submission process ends July 29

The Minister of Youth, Sport and Culture, Mr Thapelo Olopeng says the process of submission of Youth Development Fund (YDF) applications in Ghanzi District commenced on June 13 and will go on until July 29, as is the case with other districts.
“This is because we have now introduced a cycle system where a call for applications is made twice a year,” Mr Olopeng told the Parliament on July 26.
He said as at 22nd July this year, his ministry received five applications from Ghanzi South constituency and 47 applications for Ghanzi North constituency.
The Member of Parliment for Ghanzi South, Mr Christian De Graaff had asked if the minister was aware that applications for the YDF fund in Ghanzi District were not being received, and asked the minister to state the reasons. Ends
