The Serowe District Agricultural Show official opening is billed for tomorrow (July 22). The Vice President, Mr Mokgweetsi Masisi, is expected to grace the event.

Secretary for the show committee, Ms Goitseone Monare, said in an interview that the show was revitalised following setbacks, which were experienced for a long time.

“We have received immense support from the public and business community and can confidently say the show now has a clear and focused corporate vision and mission.’

The mission was to congregate as much of the value chain in one place for showcasing Botswana products and produce, while simultaneously networking critical stakeholders.

In its second year, as a revamped project, the show attracted over 4 000 participants across all activities including participants (beauty contest, motorbike performance and racing, football game and the main event).

Exhibitors include the agricultural sector, small business enterprises, government departments and corporate business. ENDS
