Parks under assessment

Due to financial constraints, the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development has not made provision for development of recreational parks in Ramotswa and Otse in NDP 10.
However, speaking in Parliament, Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Mr Frans Van Der Westhuizen said considerations had been made to develop a park through Public Private Partnership model.
“The proposal is currently being assessed by the ministry with the view to seeking approval by the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning,” he said.
Ramotswa MP, Mr Samuel Rantuana had asked when the recreational parks in Ramotswa and Otse would be developed. ENDS
