The two roomed office used by the Social and Community Development officer in Mosu will be renovated during this financial year.

Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Ms Botlogile Tshireletso said this in response to a parliamentary question from the MP for Boteti East, Mr Sethomo Lelatisitswe.
Ms Tshireletso said the Central District Council (CDC) would not be able to connect electricity to the office due to budgetary constraints.

He said the office has old furniture which was due to be replaced during the current financial year.

The assistant minister said the CDC had started sourcing quotations for the proposed renovations, which were planned to start in August, adding that the works would be done by the council as it was not included in the ESP.

MP Lelatisitswe had asked the ministry to apprise Parliament on the status of the office in Mosu particularly the office itself, electrification and furniture.

He also wanted to know if the Economic Stimulus Programme (ESP) would be used to close the gap. Ends
