Immediately after one of the social media football pages, Killer Pass announced the death of the former Botswana Football Association (BFA), technical director Ben Koffie who died at his home country Ghana on Monday, different football followers commented to mourn the death of the great Big Ben.

What they said:

Patrick M Mathe: We have lost a true football teacher, coach, a legend. Big Ben had the love and passion for Botswana football, it was during his stint here that some of us became coaches. 

I'll remember him during the time when he called the association to engage psychologists to prepare our players emotionally. 

He was taken to task by the media then but he stood firm on his conviction. 

This was motivated by the fact our players then couldn't last the regulation time coz they easily lost concentration towards the dying minutes of the game. 

He is my first coaching instructor. May Your Soul Rest in Peace Big Ben.

Calvin Mokete Tisane: The African fraternity is losing legends and football masterminds. I am pleased to have shared light moments with you and a few soccer tips, we your students have lost, Botswana football lost, Ghana has lost, West Africa has lost Africa has lost and the world of football has lost a football philosopher aka football guru. A lot of Batswana tend to forget that the Guinea/Gabon was your legacy though the new horizon was missing the likes of bo Nchingane and a few others. But in a nutshell you set up a sound roadmap. MAY YOUR SOUL REST IN PEACE.

Ace Kelekwang: The real technical director we have ever had, Period, may Big Ben' soul rest in peace, he is the reason why Ghana development teams are competing in the world of football + Black Stars. ENDS
