Beneficiary hails YDF

Youth Development Fund (YDF) beneficiary, Mr Keotshephile Kutlase, has praised government for introducing programmes meant to eradicating poverty.
The managing director of Proof Media said in an interview that YDF funded him with P100 000 that he used to invest in buying business machinery.
This, he said, assisted him to fulfill his dream of operating a media business.
The film and television production Limkokwing graduate said he opened doors to the public in July last year.
He offers an assortment of services amongst them video shooting, merchandise printing, events management alongside advertising and marketing.
When he started people were not knowledgeable about his products and services, therefore he was challenged to put an extra effort to ensure sustainability of the business.
The 28 year-old, however, worked so hard and deployed vigorous marketing strategies so as to attract customers.
“I had to market my business so as to familiarise the community with it since it was newer to most of them,” Mr Kutlase said.
He said the strategy proved to work very well as community responded to the affirmative.
“My clients are really appreciating my work and I remain upbeat that it will continue to penetrate the market worldwide,”he said. He continued that his business is a challenging one and therefore he cited patience, passion and hard work as a critical recipe for success.
Apart from being a leading media company and operating branches nationwide, Mr Kutlase envisaged owning a complex in order to reduce expenses incurred in rental payments.
He hailed YDF officers for being passionate when dealing with the youth as that turned their dreams into realities. ENDS
