Cabinet crushes accounting officers

Cabinet ministers crushed permanent secretaries 3-0 in a game played at the University of Botswana on June 16.
President Lt Gen. Dr Seretse Khama Ian Khama aka Super scored two goals while the third came via Moisiraele ‘Masterpiece’ Goya.
Cabinet showed their intentions of winning the game when Super opened the score sheet as early as the second minute.
Two of his attempts were denied by the word work.
Masterpiece was also a marvel to watch. He dictated terms in the middlefield.
Eric ‘Hardrock’ Molale and Shaw ‘Sparks’ Kgathi did not display skills that endeared them to fans last year.
Thapelo ‘DJ Tips’ Olopeng although a lot was expected from him, did not convince maybe because he was distracted by the fact that he was player, captain and coach at the same time.
Dikgang Phillibao Makgalemele intimidated opponents by his dribbling skills and it was difficult for opponents to fight for the balls with him.
On the losing side, Carter ‘ESP’ Morupisi had a good game, but he was let down by his team-mates who failed to finish what he started.
Ruth ‘Mohiri’ Maphorisa on one hand made some good runs, and had they supplied her with good balls, she could have finished with Cabinet goalkeeper Fedelis ‘Fidel’ Molao who spent most of his time diving even for easy balls.
Sensing trouble, the PS team introduced Kebonye ‘RB 1’ Moepeng who without doubt changed the complexion of the game, but time was not on their side.
President Khama, said in an interview after the game, that the PS team did not do their homework properly, although they had been training.
“As for us we never trained as a team, we just met here at the stadium, but we managed to win against them, I guess they will come more organised next time, this is our third year emerging victorious,” he said.
Super, however, said such games were good for team building.
Kago ‘YDF’ Ramokate said they lost to a better side, adding that next time they would come prepared to end the cabinet winning streak. ENDS
