Some volleyball clubs will, this weekend, descend on Serowe College of Education for Mascom Volleyball League games.

The catch is for top teams to remain at apex of the logs whilst those at the bottom would seek redemption to ascend.

A David and Goliath battle would ensue when rookies and bottom placed Selibe Phikwe Volleyball Club (SVC) women face Mafolofolo at 9am.

Having lost their four games and accumulating only four points into their cart in the process, SVC would be up for a baptism of fire against second placed Mafolofolo.

Mafolofolo are two points behind leaders Dynamites. 

Against Mafolofolo, Makgetla Gareanna’s women would face a tried and tested force.

The odds would be against SVC who would walk into yet another lion’s den albeit with hope of coming out unharmed when they face Kutlwano at 1pm.

Kutlwano aka Big House lost 3-0 to Dynamites following a ruling on improperly registered Tracy Chaba.

Therefore, they would want to put their problems behind and grind the hapless new comers. 

The Big House are at an unfamiliar fifth spot.

 At 11am another of the two northern sides, Mag Stimela women would be home to Kutlwano.

Mag Stimela would later come face to face with Mafolofolo. Mafolofolo boasts national team players and could send shivers down spines of Maboka’s women. 

Log leaders, Dynamites, date third placed Kalavango at 9am, before another date with BDF VI at 11am. 

For men, fourth placed Diphatsa would slud it out with ninth placed Mafolofolo at SCE sports gallery at 5pm before eighth placed Mag Stimela meet Kutlwano.

On Sunday, at same venue, Tanian would fight for supremacy against Mahalapye’s Mag Stimela at 9am.

Tanian would then face Mafolofolo at 11am before Diphatsa welcome Kutlwano at 1pm.

In Lobatse, Saturday, Prisons VI take on Ramotswa’s Spiking Stars at 10am before bottom placed Desert Kings battle with Itekeng.  

Police VI would meet Desert Kings. Shimaka Nganaotsile’s cops would then wrap up an eventful weekend with a battle against Prisons VI. ENDS
