Kebonang attends forum

Assistant Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, Mr Sadique Kebonanag has attended the Southern African Development Communuty (SADC) – Japan Business Forum in Tokyo from June 7-12.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Investment, the forum has brought together over 300 top Japanese private companies and 12 SADC countries.
The countries are to present their flagship infrastructure as well as other potential investment opportunities.
“Botswana is attending this forum as the current chair of the SADC Trade, Investment and Tourism committee. The forum also presents an opportunity for the country to explore avenues to help diversify the economy and meet challenges in the water, energy and infrastructure sectors,” the release states. ENDS
