Mascom Top 8 champions Orapa United and finalists Township Rollers dominate the tournament's awards nomination list.
The awards will be held at Gaborone International Convention Centre tomorrow evening (May 19).
The lucrative player of the tournament award, which comes with a whopping P50 000 cheque, is contested by Rollers midfield maestro Maano Ditshupo, as well as United duo Ronald Chikomo and Olekantse Mambo.
Chikomo's four goals were pivotal to the Ostriches winning their first major silverware.
The Zambian born striker scored a crucial equaliser in the final, which changed the complexion of the match and paved the way for United to beat Rollers 3-1.
While Chikomo led the frontline with aplomb, Mambo was a pillar of strength in the Ostriches backline with some consistent performances.
His contributions throughout the tournament were instrumental in United winning the final, in which he was voted as man of the match.
Rollers' skipper Ditshupo displayed admirable performances in midfield and weighed in with four goals as Mapalastina reached their third successive final.
The goalkeeper of the tournament award is contested by United net-minder Mosimanegape Robert, Kabelo Dambe of Rollers and BDF XI gloves-man Mwampule Masule. The award carries a prize-money of P25 000.
The top goal scorer award will be shared by Ditshupo and Chikomo who bagged four goals each. The award carries prize-money of P30 000.
Cup winning coach Madinda Ndlovu of United will battle alongside Mark Harrison of Rollers and Beston Chambeshi of BDF XI for the coach of the tournament gong, which carried P25 000 prize-money.
Keabetswe Dintwa, Lekgotla Johannes and Tirelo Mositwane will compete for the best referee of the tournament.
The winner will walk away with P15 000. The assistant referee award will be contested by Meshack Medupi, Mogomotsi Morakile and Moemedi Monakwane. ENDS
