LEA celebrates success

The Local Enterprise Authority (LEA) celebrated the success of its assisted enterprises Isabel Suites and Tours and Lifestyle Architects in Palapye.
Speaking at a ceremony to honour the owners of the two enterprises in Palapye on Friday, LEA deputy chief executive officer Ms Masego Gwaila-Madanika said the two women, Ms Sephiwe Philimon and Batshetsi Kgamane who own Isabel Suites and Lifestyle Architects respectively registered with LEA in 2010.She said LEA helped build the two ventures into competitive and sustainable businesses.
She said LEA accorded the enterprises targeted interventions to close all gaps and enhance growth, by offering their client series of training and equipping them with business skills in all various business aspects.
Ms Madanika said they also assisted in other components like engaging their clients on conferences and fairs, assisting with the development of a website and promotional materials which branded and positioned those businesses well in the market place.
Ms Madanika also applauded the wellbeing of Lifestyle Architects, which she said its work is in progress to certify the enterprise for its Quality Management System against the requirements of the international ISO 9001:2008 standard that will enable them to render a quality services and customers’ expectations.
Ms Madanika said her authority also guides and provides daily business advisory, coaching and mentoring services, which enables these businesswomen to have been nurtured to a point where they compete with established large businesses in the hospitality and architectural fields.
