Kanye Swallows relegation woes worsen

Kanye Swallows relegation woes deepened when Double Action trounced them 6-nil during a women Super league encounter in Kanye on Saturday May 14.
The win put Double Action in contention for the championships with Township Rollers and Prisons IX.
The Saturday encounter started late because it clashed with a social football clubs tourney that was been given the green light to use Kanye Swallows grounds by the regional soccer body; an oversight that nearly affected the match.
However, what appeared disaster waiting to happen was eventually resolved when the four social clubs amicably decided to look for an alternative ground to continue with their event.
Double Action, who showed hunger and determination from the first whistle, were the first draw blood on the sixth minute courtesy of Neo Masimola.
The goal spurred on the visitors whose poise on the ball was a marvel.
Double Action was however wasteful and did not have the necessary composure in front as they either shot wide at goal or over the bar.
On one hand the seemingly fatigued Swallows gave the visitors who pilled pressure on its defence a lot of respect in all departments.
This paid off when Veronicah Mogotsi solidified her team’s lead with a beauty nine minutes from the first goal and just before recess.
During second half Swallows started off a better side albeit momentarily as Neo Masimola who was a real thorn to the hosts shot powerfully from outside the box to put the game beyond reach of the former and in the process register
