Gaborone City will be divided for 90 minutes when two women super league giants, Double Action and Township Rollers meet at Mma-Masire Ground on Saturday.Some soccer pundits normally liken the encounter to Manchester City and Manchester United of England, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid of Spain, where friends become enemies for the entire 90 minutes.

A lot is at stake in the encounter, battle for supremacy, bragging rights of the city and most importantly as to which team will be at the summit of the log on Saturday evening.Double Action has a score to settle given that since 1999 they had been dominating and winning the championship back to back until last year, when Township Rollers snatched it from them.

Equally, Rollers are in a mission to defend their title, and the whole of the season they have been dominating and scoring avalanche of goals, therefore it remains to be seen whether Ma-Double can spoil their mission of clinching the championship back to back.

Ma-Double has arsenal of experienced players who can make life difficult for Popa ladies, and all eyes will be on captain Bonang “Bebeto” Otlhagile, who has since scored 21 goals in the league, Thuto Ramafifi, Kgomotso Molefe, Thuso Lesaane and Patricia Motingwa to finish with Rollers.

On the other hand, Rollers will pin their hopes on their top goal scorers, Refilwe “Seven” Tholakelo, who has 26 goals and Bame Ngenda with 23 goals.  The other player to watch is Township Rollers keeper, Sedilame “Tsontso” Bosija, she has over time kept a clean sheet, the only game that her team lost this season was when she was not present, and also it will be interesting to see Lebogang Setere and Ramifi in the middle of the park.

Currently, Rollers are at the summit of the log having played 14 games. They won 13, lost one and collected 39 points, whereas Double Action are a point away from Rollers. They have played 15 games, won 12, drew two, lost one and have 38 points.In other games to be played tomorrow, Kanye Swallows will face Gaborone United in Kanye, Untouchable and Makufa SC will battle it out at Masa Primary School, FC Legends and UB Kicks will take their battle to Regent.

On Sunday, New Look Primary School will host Meat Girls and Big Sister, while Prisons will play it out with hosts South East Girls at Prisons Grounds. END
