The eighth season of the Big Brother Africa reality show named The Chase is scheduled to commence on May 26.

The biggest reality television show in the continent will attract contestants from 14 countries who will battle it out for the grand prize money of US $300 000.

Last year’s show, themed, the Stargame, saw South African Keagan, walk away with the grand prize.

Keagen proved himself a strong contender the moment he was elevated from Downville to Upville.

Botswana’s representatives in the Stargame, sisters Edith and Eve Maygilip exited the show together after a four week stint in the house. 

As is the norm, this year’s contestants would only be officially revealed when the show starts, a feature that makes Big Brother the interesting game it has become.  

The Chase, just like previous shows, is expected to reveal surprises, twists and turns as housemates with different personalities strategize to find ways to lay their hands on the mouth-watering prize.

Even though the show will bring in fresh and exciting changes, including the new logo, popular television and radio presenter IK makes another comeback as the presenter.  ENDS
