A mother of battles is expected at Prisons Ground where two giants Prisons and Meat Girls will meet in Women super league on Saturday.

Prisons is on position one  having played 17 games they have won 11,draw four, lost one and they have 37 points and their win on the day will help them to stay put at the summit  ,should Township Rollers and Double Action draw or lose their games.

On the other hand, Meat Girls have played 15, won nine, draw one, lost five games and they are on position four with 28 points.

Meat Girls coach Benjamin Matlala told BOPA that they had prepared well, and his team was injury free.

The game, he said was going to be very tough and it would be won by the best team, which had prepared well during the week.

“To be honest, we are not under any pressure the girls are looking forward to the game, they know how their opponents play, and we know their strength and weakness,” he said.

Matlala said they played to a one all draw in the first round, adding that a win against Prisons would keep their hopes alive in their quest to fight for championship.

Prisons coach Quelch Moroke said equally they were prepared for the game, and the return of Nondi Mahlasela and Refilwe Tshambani from national team engagement would boost his team.

He said morale was very high in camp, and they were injury free, adding Meat Girls managed to hold them to a draw in Lobatse, because his girls failed to bury all their golden scoring opportunities.

“This time our intension is to start the game on a very high note, and maybe unsettle them with quick early goal, “he said.

In other games to be played on Saturday, Gaborone United  will play FC Legends at Water Utilities Ground, South East Girls will have a date with Kanye Swallows in Ramotswa.

On Sunday, Township Rollers and UB Kicks will battle at Mmamasire, Double Action    will host Makufa SC at Bosele Primary School, and Masa Primary School will be a battle ground for Untouchable and Big Sister. All games start at 330 pm. ENDS
