Ms Tshireletso said the bus transports pupils to and from Ramotlabaki Primary School as well as a seven tonne truck that carries their luggage during school activities.
She said in addition, the council has been assisting teachers and civil servants by providing transport for them in an open truck.
However, she said as from April 1, 2016, transportation of teachers would be the responsibility of the regional education office while the council would transport its staff in light duty vehicles.
