Ministry aware kgotla does not have office

Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Mr Frans Van De Westhuizen says he is aware that the Mmea kgotla does not have an office.
Mr Van De Westhuizen said currently the community used a two-roomed VDC structure for a kgotla office.
“The village’s kgotla offices are planned for construction under the Economic Stimulus Programme (ESP) and construction is anticipated to commence during the current financial year,” said Mr Van De Westhuizen
The MP for Boteti East, Mr Sethomo Lelatisitswe had asked the assistant minister if he was aware that Mmea kgotla did not have an office.
He also wanted to know where the community accessed the services offered from the kgotla, and whether the offices would be built under ESP and when construction would start. Ends
