Oodi culvert project complete-Mabeo

The Minister of Transport and Communications has informed Parliament that the road project that was undertaken on the Notwane River at Oodi cost the government over P15 million and that the road was opened to traffic on December 4, 2015.

Mr Mabeo said the work involved the construction of culverts and not a bridge across the river at Oodi and that it was awarded to KS Transport and Plant Hire.

He said the project commenced on February 5, 2015 and ended on November 20, 2015 after nine months. 

The Member of Parliament for Mochudi East, Mr Isaacs Davids had asked the minister to update Parliament on the progress made with the construction of the bridge across the Notwane River at Oodi.

He had also asked the minister to state the cost of the project and how long it took to complete the project. Ends
