30 Mar 2016
BFA chief executive officer, Kitso Kemoen, has been appointed to act as Botswana Premier League (BPL) chief executive officer.
According to a press release, Kemoen was appointed CEO pending submission of the composite report from parties involved in the execution and implementation of all resolutions adopted at the BPL board of governors meeting on March 26.
The release states that the BFA national executive committee (NEC) was in contact with the relevant parties to establish finer details and legality of some of the developments from the meeting.
The release states that on behalf of the NEC, the president of the BFA directed both parties to submit a composite report by the end of business on March 29.
BFA press release follows the board of governors’s indefinite suspension of BPL CEO Bennet Mamelodi along with his personal assistant, Mogolo Sekgwa.
Board chairperson Walter Kgabung and his deputy Solomon Mantswe have been recalled with immediate effect. ENDS
