No plans to increase working hours
17 Mar 2016
Parliament has been told that the Ministry of Health has no plans to increase working hours at the Sebele Clinic.
The Minister of Health, Ms Dorcas Makgato said the number of patients who attended the facility between January and December 2014 did not exceed 12 000, which indicated that the number attending the facility was less than 100 per month.
She said the numbers attending the clinic do not warrant the extension of the working hours of the facility.
The MP for Gaborone North, Mr Haskins Nkaigwa had asked the minister if there were any plans to increase working hours at Sebele Clinic, and if she was aware that many people use the clinic hence the need to increase its working hours including weekends. Ends
