No plans to build bus rank at Marapoathutlwa

Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development Ms Botlogile Tshireletso says there are no plans to develop a bus rank at Marapoathutwa (Block 8) area.
Ms Tshireletso said the government through the Ministry of Transport and Communications has appointed a consultant to carry out feasibility study for the implementation of a public transport system for the greater Gaborone area.
She said one of the objectives of this study is to assess the existing transport operations and recommend appropriate facilities or interventions that will support a more sustainable and efficient public transport system for the city region.MP for Gaborone North Mr Haskins Nkaigwa had asked the minister if there are plans to develop a bus rank at block 8.
