Francistowners spoilt for activities

The city of Francistown will this weekend be a beehive of various sporting activities as the second city continues to be a venue of choice for many.
The lineup includes a Mascom Top 8 second leg semifinals clashes between BDF XI, affectionately called Matebele a Mantshonyana by their legion of supporters, against the Ostriches or Orapa United at the Francistown Sports Complex tonight at 8pm.
Then tomorrow afternoon, the Mascom Top 8 semis will continue with Mochudi Centre Chiefs versus Township Rollers agame at 4pm.
In the morning of the same day, the Francistown School of Tennis will be a battle ground for the 4-12 year olds in a tournament that will attract some players from as far as Zimbabwe.
Another Saturday morning activity will see all roads leading to the Lobelo Racing Club where top riders will compete for positions to represent Botswana at the Motocross of African Nations in Kenya in August.
Meanwhile in the Debswana First Division North, it will be an all-out war when the two teams at the top, Mahalapye Hotspurs and ECCO City Greens meet at the Old Francistown Stadium.
On Sunday, Tafic will lock horns with fellow city rival TASC.
