Selebi Phikwe records 22 pregnancy cases

Assistant Minister of Education and Skills Development, Mr Fidelis Molao has told Parliament that there are 22 cases of pregnancy documented from six junior secondary schools in Selebi Phikwe over 2013, 2014 and 2015.
Responding to a question in Parliament, Mr Molao said of the 22 cases, 13 have been re-admitted to complete their education.
Selebi Phikwe MP, Mr Dithapelo Keorapetse had asked the minister to tell how many cases of teenage pregnancy involving students were documented at each of the town’s junior secondary schools in 2013, 2014 and 2015 and how many students had continued with their studies after giving birth. Ends
