No plans to open service centre

Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Ms Botlogile Tshireletso says due to limited financial resources, there are no plans to open a service centre in Block 8. She said the key focus was to establish a service hall in Tsholofelo where the available limited resources would be committed to in future.
The Member of Parliament for Gaborone North, Mr Haskins Nkaigwa had asked the minister if she was aware that residents of Block 8 in Gaborone North constituency have to travel to Gaborone West to seek social services. He also wanted to know if there were any plans to open a service centre in Block 8 to assist residents in the area and neighbouring locations. Ends
