29 Feb 2016

Mochudi Centre Chiefs tactician, coach Michael Sithole, was a happy man after his side came from a goal down to defeat Miscellaneous  4-3 in Serowe on Friday.

Sithole said he was happy about the win especially that his side was under pressure and his players were psychologically burdened by the Mascom Top 8 defeat by Township Rollers.

He said mistakes committed by his players were due to pressure and psychologically burden. Miscellaneous gaffer, Russia Chaba, was disappointed that they conceded from school boy errors.

Coach Chaba lost against Gaborone United, Gunners, Orapa United and now Magosi in a row and this could deny his team the top eight finish.  He said he was trying by all means to build the team to become a formidable side but his boys let him down in the field of play, citing poor defence and lack of aggression during the attack.

An early goal converted by Chakova Monyenga  six minutes into the game, he said was their wish but regretted that his side later lost shape.

Magosi potent striker, Lemponye Tshireletso leveled matters 25 minutes  into the game and Senatla Molefhe increased the tally through an easy free header in the second half.

Later on, Keabetswe Jenamiso and Tendai Nyumasi also headed home easy free headers before substitute Master Masitara saved his side from humiliation as he scored two beautiful goals in the dying minutes of the game. Ends
