CEDA finances eight projects

The Citizen Entrepreneurial Development Agency (CEDA) has financed a total of eight projects in the two constituencies in Ghanzi, Assistant Minister of Trade and Industry, Advocate Sadique Kebonang has said .Responding to a question in parliament from Ghanzi North MP, Mr Noah Salakae, Advocate Kebonang said the projects were financed with total funds amounting to more than P6 million, mainly in the Agricultural and Services sectors with 31 jobs.
The House heard that in Ghanzi North, four projects which created 21 jobs were financed, while in Ghanzi South, four projects were also financed which created 10 jobs. The Local Enterprise Authority (LEA), he said had trained 1 078 clients on Entrepreneurial Awareness Workshop and 11 clients on financial management for Ghanzi North and South constituencies.
Mr Salakae had asked Advocate Kebonang to state the number of enterprises financed by CEDA in Ghanzi North and Ghanzi South constituencies for financial year 2014/15 and state their monetary and the number of jobs created. Ghanzi North MP also wanted the assistant minister to state the number of entrepreneurs trained by LEA in the Ghanzi North and Ghanzi South constituencies for financial year 2014/15. Ends
