Pre-owned vehicles relieve Batswana
14 Feb 2016
The Assistant Minister of Trade and Industry, Advocate Sadique Kebonang, says there has been an upsurge of pre-owned vehicles in Botswana due to their affordability.
He said pre-owned vehicles had relieved Batswana as a means of cheaper transportation.
Responding to a parliamentary question, Advocate Kebonang said there was no vehicle manufacturing in the country and as a result all vehicles in Botswana were imported either new or pre-owned type. MP for Francistown East, Mr
Buti Billy had asked the Minister of Trade and Industry to state the impact of imported vehicles on the country’s economy. Ends
