13 projects operations in Diphuduhudu

Parliament has been informed that at least 25 poverty eradication projects in Diphuduhudu had been funded of which 13 were operational, 11 non-operational while one had failed.
Answering a question in Parliament from the MP for Francistown South, Mr Wynter Mmolotsi, the Assistant Minister for Presidential Affairs and Public Administration Mr Dikgang Makgalemele said out of the 13 operational projects, four were a success.
He also said 47 projects in Sehunou had been funded, of which 19 were operational, 22 were non-operational while six had failed. With regard to Struizendam, he said of the 67 projects funded, at least 53 were operational, while one was non-operational with a total of two having failed.
With regard to Damochujenaa, Mr Makgalemele said a total of 53 projects were funded, of which 44 are operational, six are non-operational while two have failed. In Chanoga, 62 out of the 68 funded projects are operational; four are no-operational while two projects have failed.
In addition, Parliament heard that 177 projects have been funded in Jamataka and 139 of them are operational while 38 are non-operational. The assistant minister stated that most of the beneficiaries were mobilized during the Poverty Eradication Dipitso which were held in the said villages. MP Mmolotsi had asked the minister to update the House on the state of poverty eradication projects in the villages of Diphuduhudu, Sehunou, Struizendam, Damochujenaa, Chanoga and Jamataka. Ends
