40 vehicles bought under intiative
07 Feb 2016
Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Ms Botlogile Tshireletso says her ministry has purchased 40 vehicles under the ‘one vehicle per village’ initiative during the current financial year.
Ms Tshireletso said a budgetary provision has also been proposed for the 2016/17 financial year.
She said her ministry would continue to rationalise the available fleet, including vehicles for other ministries to address shortages in needy areas.
The MP for Nata/Gweta, Mr Polson Majaga had asked the assistant minister if she was aware that the ‘one vehicle per village’ initiative was not being implemented, and if there were any remedies in place. Ends
