Make right choices

The Minister of Education and Skills Development has encouraged young adults to live responsibly.
Officiating at the Young Adults Inspired Destiny seminar recently, Dr Pelonomi Venson-Moitoi said young people often hear and experience many things in their lives as they grew up, but it is entirely upon them to make the right choices.
The seminar, which was addressed by one of the world’s most renowned behavioural and personal development specialists, Dr John Demartini, was attended by both teachers and students from different primary, junior and senior secondary schools across the country.
Dr Venson-Moitoi urged the students to pay attention to Dr Demartini’s message and make use of what they learn from him because it was a blessing that had the potential to change their lives for the better.
She said when she was appointed education and skills development minister, she could not refuse, saying that it was a challenge and a calling.
“I couldn’t refuse because that would mean giving up on the children who are the future of this country.
So let’s all do what is right for the children of this country,” she stressed.
Dr Demartini is the founder of the Demartini Institute, a private research and education organisation with a curriculum of over 72 different courses covering multiple aspects of human development.
In his presentation, Dr Demartini inspired students to cherish their lives, talents and believe in their abilities.
“Sometimes we allow people’s opinions to shrink our lives instead of shining. But we are all destined to be something better.
The quality of the life that one lives is determined by the kinds of questions that they ask their entire life.
So if you ask extraordinary questions, you will live an extraordinary life,” he said.
Dr Demartini, who is the author of 40 books published in 29 different languages, travels 360 days a year to countries all over the globe, sharing his research and findings in all markets and sectors.
His trademarked methodologies, the Demartini Method and the Demartini Value Determination, were the culmination of 40 years of cross-disciplinary research and study.
His work has also been incorporated into human development industries across the world.
He has also produced over 60 CDs and DVDs covering subjects such as development in relationships, wealth, education and business.
Each of his programmes are designed to assist people to activate leadership and empower themselves in all seven areas of their lives; financial, physical, mental, vocational, spiritual, family and social. ENDS
