Webtickets cost effective
27 Jan 2016
Webtickets Botswana has made inroads in the local market.
Webtickets Botswana director, Mr Cowell Habanna, told a press conference in Gaborone on Tuesday that unlike the traditional way of selling tickets, Webtickets ensured integrated marketing that put event promoters and venues in direct control of customer relations, their brands and revenue streams.
Mr Habanna said webtickets was cost-effective as it reduced the number of manual operations. He said webticketing was easy to use and had an efficient user interface that reduced customer contact time and waiting time.
Some artists and entrepreneurs also lauded webtickets saying that it was a better and easy way of selling tickets for their events.
Ms Debbie Smith of the Hamptons Jazz Festival said webtickets was doing well in terms of selling their tickets for the upcoming festival. She added that it was assisting in terms of marketing the festival to the masses.
Hip hop artist, Kast, said webtickets would help his ‘Tlatsa Lebala Campaign’ due sometime this year. He said the motive behind the initiative was to fill up the stadium with an all-local artist line-up.
He said that they look forward to using Webtickets to market the event and sell tickets. Ends
