Tender for Nyangabgwe hospital security ongoing

The Assistant Minister of Health says there are 22 temporarily employed security officers at Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital.
Answering a question in Parliament, Dr Alfred Madigele said the ministry was not aware that there was no security for both patients and staff at Nyangabgwe.
He indicated that the tender to engage a security company for the facility was on-going and the process was expected to be completed by the second quarter of the next financial year.
Member of Parliament for Francistown South, Mr Wynter Mmolotsi, had asked the minister if he was aware that there was no security for both patients and staff at Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital and whether it was not risky for the hospital to run without security. Ends
