Parliament has been told that there are 1 303 Batswana graduates from colleges of education or universities that are employed by the Ministry of Education and Skills Development as temporary teachers country wide.

Responding to a parliamentary question, Mr Moiseraele Goya said out of the total, 285 had taught consecutively for periods one to five years and remained employed by the ministry.
