Football semifinals tommorrow

Francistown region boys football team were the last team to join the semi-finals following their narrow 2-1 win over Selebi Phikwe region on Tuesday (December 8) in a game played at Francistown College of Technical and Vocational Education . 

Their victory meant that they will face Central while Kweneng and Kgalagadi will lock horns in the semi-finals today (December 10).  

In an interview after the victory, Francistown coach Johnson Moisakwena said he was happy with how they applied themselves throughout the game. 

He noted that even though they did not start the games very well, his boys did not give up and ended up redeeming themselves.

His counterpart, Selibe Phikwe assistant coach, Ketlogetswe Goitsemodimo said that even though they lost the game, his players played well as they matched their opponents pound for pound.

Goitsemodimo further said even though their midfield was outclassed by their opponents, the boys kept their head up in search of an equalizer.

Francistown captain, Kabelo Letsholo said he was happy with their win even though the game was a difficult one, noting that they encountered difficulties. Ends
