Francistown region boxing team is dominating the ongoing 4^th Botswana games as they have so far won more bouts than other regions taking part in the competition.

The host city boxers had by Tuesday won six bouts followed by North West region with a tally of five bouts, while Southern region has won four bouts with Gantsi region having won three bouts.

Kgatleng region, which is coached by Olympian, Thato Batshegi has won three bouts while Gaborone has won four bouts and Lobatse region has so far won only one bout. 

In a much anticipated fight between Mojeremani Gibson from Sowa region and Englibregth Godfrey from Southern region, Godfrey won the fight through Referee Stop Contest .

In the Bantam weight category, there were two technical knockouts and there was no contest in the women Light fly category. 

 

The boys fought three rounds of three minutes each while in the women’s category they fought four rounds of two minutes each. Ends
