Naledi secondary cold storage faulty
07 Dec 2015
Assistant Minister of Education and Skills Development, Mr Moiseraele Goya says his ministry is aware that the cold storage facility at Naledi Senior Secondary School is malfunctioning.
Mr Goya said the school has three large deep freezers which were used for storing bulk perishables. He said the Department of Electrical and Mechanical Services were still sourcing funds to undertake the repairs of the cold room.
Gaborone South MP, Mr Kagiso Molatlhegi had asked whether the minister was aware of the malfunctioning cold storage at Naledi Senior Secondary School, and to state any plans in place to assist the school with proper storage of perishables and bulk food and whether the minister would consider outsourcing the repair of the cold storage to private companies.
